At 3 years old, the child is lively, curious, and actively practicing independence, which can be a significant challenge for parents. The doctor's examination will focus on the child’s well-being (weight and height), development (milestones), a vision test, and any current or previous illnesses the child may have had.
The parent consultation often covers topics such as: nutrition (including whether the child is overweight), interactions with parents and others, and language development.
